PERSEPSI UMAT HINDU TERHADAP IDENTIFIKASI KEPANDITAAN BERDASARKAN SISTEM KEWANGSAAN DI BALI (Studi Kasus Di Kecamatan Kuta Selatan, Kabupaten Badung)

ABSTRAK

Kitab Suci Veda mengandung ajaran yang sangat universal, hal tersebut
mengantarkan manusia kepada dimensi pemahaman yang sangat kompleks. Akibat
kurangnya pemahaman menyebabkan penerapan ajaran Veda menyimpang dari
tujuannya, hal ini terjadi dalam sistem kepanditaan sebagaimana ajaran catur
varna dalam Veda, perkembangannya berubah menjadi identifikasi kepanditaan
berdasarkan wangsa. Untuk memahami fenomena ini, maka masalah dapat
dirumuskan menjadi tiga, yaitu; 1) Bagaimana persepsi umat Hindu terhadap
identifikasi kepanditaan berdasarkan sistem kewangsaan, 2) faktor-faktor apa
yang mempengaruhi, dan 3) apa dampak dari persepsi umat Hindu terhadap
identifikasi kepanditaan berdasarkan sistem kewangsaan di Kecamatan Kuta
Selatan, Kabupaten Badung tersebut.
Untuk menganalisis tiga rumusan permasalahan tersebut digunakan tiga
teori, yaitu; Teori Hegemoni untuk menganalisis permasalahan pertama. Teori
Proses Perubahan untuk menganalisis permasalahan ke dua, dan Teori Konflik
untuk menganalisis permasalahan ke tiga. Data dan sumber data dikumpulkan dari
informan dan buku-buku penunjang. Untuk memperoleh data yang valid di
lapangan penulis menggunakan teknik, observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan
studi kepustakaan, untuk menganalisis data digunakan metode deskriptif dan
komparatif, selanjutnya barulah dilukukan analisis hasil.
Persepsi umat Hindu terhadap identifikasi kepanditaan berdasarkan
sistem kewangsaan, muncul sebagai akibat praktik substansi yang telah
menguasai kedudukan teratas menghegemoni umat Hindu dengan mengubah
ajaran catur varna menjadi catur wangsa guna tujuan tertentu, untuk dapat keluar
dari sistem sangat dibutuhkan intelektual yang tinggi, partisipasi aktif dalam
kehidupan praktis, sebagai pembangun, organisator, penasehat, dan semangat
untuk memperjuangkan kebenaran Veda.
Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya perubahan persepsi umat
Hindu terhadap identifikasi kepanditaan berdasarkan sistem kewangsaan,
dikarenakan oleh suatu sistem yang muncul sebagai kombinasi atau gabungan
hasil keadaan berbagai unsur yang berintegrasi satu sama lain dalam hubungan
sosial. Unsur-unsur tersebut berbentuk faktor-faktor internal ataupun eksternal
yang menyebabkan munculnya perubahan persepsi umat Hindu terhadap
identifikasi kepanditaan.
Dampak perubahan persepsi umat Hindu terhadap identifikasi
kepanditaan berdasarkan sistem kewangsaan di Kecamatan Kuta Selatan,
dipengaruhi pembagian wewenang di dalam perserikatan, kekayaan, status
ekonomi, dan status sosial, hal ini menyebabkan intensitas konflik sangat tinggi,
namun konflik tidak selalu berdampak negatif namun juga bermanfaat positif bagi
kelangsungan umat di daerah tersebut.

ABSTRACT

Vedic Scriptures contain a doctrine that is universal, it is delivered to the
human dimension of understanding the very complex. Due to a lack of
understanding led to the application of the Vedic teachings deviate from the goal,
this happens in a system of teaching chess kepanditaan as Varna in the Vedas, its
development became kepanditaan identification based on the dynasty. To
understand this phenomenon, then the problem can be formulated into three,
namely: 1) how the perception of Hindus against the identification kewangsaan
kepanditaan based system, 2) what factors are affecting, and 3) what is the impact
of the perception of Hindus against kepanditaan based identification
system kewangsaan in the District of South Kuta, Badung regency it.
To analyze the three formulas used three theories to these problems,
namely: Hegemony theory to analyze the problem first. Process of Change theory
to analyze the problem into two, and Conflict Theory to analyze the problem to
three. Data and data sources collected from informants and books supporting. To
obtain valid data in the field the authors use the techniques, observation,
interviews, documentation, and library research, to analyze the data use
descriptive and comparative methods, then dilukukan subsequent analysis of
results.
The perception of Hindus against kepanditaan based identification
system kewangsaan, emerged as a result of a substance has mastered the practice
of top notch Hindu hegemony by transforming the teaching four varna become
four wangsa to be a specific purpose, to be out of the system desperately needed a
high intellectual, active participation in the life practical, as a builder, an
organizer, adviser, and the spirit to fight for the truth of the Vedas.
Factors that influence the occurrence of a change of perception of Hindus
against kepanditaan based identification system kewangsaan, due to a system that
appears as a combination or a combination of state of various elements that
integrate with each other in social relationships. These elements form-factor
internal or external factors that led to the emergence of change in the perception
of Hindus against kepanditaan identification.
The impact of changes in the perception of Hindus againts kepanditaan
based identification system in tha District of South Kuta kewangsaan, influenced
the distribution of authority within the union, wealth, economic status, and social
status this causes very high-intensity conflict, but conflict does not necessarily
have a negative but also positive benefit for the survival of the people in the area.
