Tujuan pendidikan karakter adalah untuk meningkatkan mutu
penyelenggaraan dan hasil pendidikan yang mengarah pada pencapaian
pembentukan karakter atau akhlak mulia peserta didik. Penanaman pendidikan
karakter melalui cerita tokoh menjadi salah satu jalan efektif untuk menjangkau
siswa khususmya pada sekolah dasar.
Masalah yang dibahas: 1) Bagaimana implementasi pendidikan karakter
melalui tokoh Arjuna di SD Negeri 5 Kawan Kabupaten Bangli, 2) Apa saja
kendala-kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam implementasi pendidikan karakter

melalui tokoh Arjuna di SD Negeri 5 Kawan Kabupaten Bangli, 3) Apa saja nilai-
nilai karakter melalui tokoh Arjuna di SD Negeri 5 Kawan, Kabupaten Bangli.

Tujuan Penelitian: (1)Implementasi pendidikan karakter melalui tokoh Arjuna di
SD Negeri 5 Kawan, Kabupaten Bangli,(2)Kendala-kendala yang dihadapi guru
dalam implementasi pendidikan karakter melalui tokoh Arjuna di SD Negeri 5
Kawan, Kabupaten Bangli,(3)Nilai-nilai karakter melalui tokoh Arjuna di SD
Negeri 5 Kawan, Kabupaten Bangli.
Teori yang digunakan adalah teori behavioristik, teori belajar kognitif dan
teori nilai. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif.
Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, studi kepustakaan
dan studi dokumentasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1)Implementasi pendidikan karakter yang
dibahas mulai dari nilai pendidikan karakter, analisis implementasi pendidikan
karakter melalui tokoh Arjuna yang meliputi nilai religius, disiplin, kerja keras,
kreatif, mandiri, rasa ingin tahu, peduli sosial dan tanggung jawab. (2)Kendala yang
dihadapi guru: kendala internal dan kendala eksternal (3)Nilai-nilai pendidikan
karakter tokoh Arjuna fokus pada nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdiri dari:
nilai religius, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, rasa ingin tahu, peduli sosial
dan tanggung jawab.
Kata kunci : Pendidikan Karakter, Tokoh Arjuna

Universitas Hindu Negeri I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa The purpose of character
education is to improve the quality of implementation and educational outcomes
that lead to the achievement of character building or noble character of students.
Planting character education through figure stories is an effective way to reach
students, especially in elementary schools.
The problems discussed in this study are: 1) How is the implementation of
character education through Arjuna figure at SD Negeri 5 Kawan, Bangli Regency,
2) What are the obstacles faced by teachers in implementing character education
through Arjuna figure at SD Negeri 5 Kawan, Bangli Regency, 3) What are the
character values through Arjuna figure at SD Negeri 5 Kawan, Bangli Regency.
This study aims to determine: (1) The implementation of character education
through Arjuna figure at SD Negeri 5 Kawan, Bangli Regency, (2) The obstacles
faced by teachers in implementing character education through Arjuna figure at SD
Negeri 5 Kawan, Bangli Regency, ( 3) Character values through Arjuna figure at
SD Negeri 5 Kawan, Bangli Regency.
The theories used to analyze this problem are behavioristic theory, cognitive
learning theory and value theory. The method used in this research is qualitative
method. In collecting data using observation methods, interviews, literature studies
and documentation studies.
The results showed (1) The implementation of character education
discussed starting from the value of character education, analysis of the
implementation of character education through Arjuna figures which included
religious values, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, curiosity, social care
and responsibility. (2) The obstacles faced by the teacher include: internal
constraints and external constraints (3) The values of character education of the
Arjuna figure are carried out by focusing on the values of character education
which consist of several learning videos which include: religious values, discipline,
work hard, creative, independent, curiosity, social and responsible.
