Pada awal tahun 2020, dunia dikagetkan dengan adanya wabah virus covid- 19. Dampak virus ini hampir ke semua sektor, salah satunya adalah sektor pendidikan sehingga pemerintah mengambil kebijakan dengan menerapkan pembelajaran daring. Di SD Negeri 4 Kubu, pembelajaran daring kelas tinggi (kelas IV, V dan VI) dilakukan melalui WhatsApp dengan membentuk kelompok tutor sebaya.
Masalah yang dibahas : (1) Bagaimana langkah-langkah tutor sebaya?, (2) Bagaimana minat belajar siswa melalui tutor sebaya?, (3) Apa saja kendala-kendala dalam implementasi tutor sebaya?. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) Langkah-langkah tutor sebaya, (2) Minat belajar siswa melalui tutor sebaya, (3) Kendala-kendala implementasi tutor sebaya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, studi kepustakaan dan studi dokumentasi. Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis dengan metode pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, penyimpulan dan verifikasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) langkah-langkah tutor sebaya dilakukan dengan penyiapan materi pembelajaran oleh guru, pembahasan materi pembelajaran dalam WhatsApp group kelas dan dilanjutkan dengan pembelajaran kelompok tutor sebaya. Hasil evaluasi sikap, pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa melebihi kreteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) yang ditentukan. Hal ini menunjukkan minat belajar siswa tumbuh melalui pembelajaran tutor sebaya. (2) Minat belajar siswa dikatakan tumbuh, didasarkan pada beberapa indikator yaitu : adanya perasaan senang siswa, ketertarikan siswa, perhatian siswa dan keterlibatan siswa dalam melakukan pembelajaran tutor sebaya. (3) Kendala-kendala dalam implementasi tutor sebaya didasarkan pada dua faktor yaitu : faktor internal (faktor kesehatan, kecerdasan atau intelegensi siswa, dan rasa malas), faktor eksternal (fasilitas (handphone), kuota internet, jaringan internet, dan lingkungan).

At the beginning of 2020, the world was shocked by the outbreak of the covid-19 virus. The impact of this virus in almost all sectors, one of which is the education sector so that the government takes a policy by implementing online learning. At SD Negeri 4 Kubu, high grade online learning (grades IV, V and VI) is carried out via WhatsApp by forming peer tutor groups.
The problems discussed: (1) What are the steps of peer tutors?, (2) How are students' interest in learning through peer tutors?, (3) What are the obstacles in implementing peer tutors?. This study aims to determine: (1) the steps of peer tutors, (2) students' interest in learning through peer tutors, (3) the obstacles to the implementation of peer tutors. The method used is a qualitative method. Collecting data using the method of observation, interviews, literature studies and documentation studies. The data that has been collected was analyzed by methods of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, inference and verification.
The results showed (1) the steps for peer tutoring were carried out by preparing learning materials by the teacher, discussing learning materials in the class WhatsApp group and continuing with peer tutor group learning. The results of the evaluation of students' attitudes, knowledge and skills exceed the specified minimum completeness criteria (KKM). This shows that students' interest in learning grows through peer tutoring. (2) Students' interest in learning is said to be growing, based on several indicators, namely: the presence of students' feelings of pleasure, student interest, student attention and student involvement in peer tutoring. (3) Constraints in the implementation of peer tutors are based on two factors, namely: internal factors (health factors, intelligence or student intelligence, and laziness), external factors (facilities (mobile phones), internet quotas, internet networks, and the environment).
