Abstract

ABSTRAK
Salah satu daya tarik wisata yang akan dikembangkan di Kabupaten Gianyar adalah daya tarik wisata Pura Mangening. Pengembangan daya tarik wisata Pura Mangening oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Gianyar bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat berkunjung wisatawan. Beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi minat berkunjung wisatawan adalah motivasi dan persepsi wisatawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan 1) untuk mengetahui karakteristik wisatawan yang berkunjung ke daya tarik wisata Pura Mangening, 2) untuk mengetahui motivasi wisatawan berkunjung ke daya tarik wisata Pura Mangening, 3) untuk mengetahui persepsi wisatawan terhadap daya tarik wisata Pura Mangening.
Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 100 orang yang diambil dengan metode non probability sampling khususnya accidental sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara offline kepada wisatawan yang berkunjung di daya tarik wisata Pura Mangening. Kuesioner yang diberikan terdiri dari 12 pernyataan mengenai motivasi wisatawan yang mengacu pada teori motivasi berwisata (push factor dan pull factor), serta 33 pernyataan mengenai persepsi wisatawan yang mengacu pada teori pengembangan destinasi wisata yaitu attractions, amenities, ancillary services, activities, accessibilities, dan available packages. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa karakteristik wisatawan yang berkunjung ke daya tarik wisata Pura Mangening didominasi oleh wisatawan dengan jenis kelamin perempuan, berusia 23 – 27 tahun, berprofesi sebagai pegawai swasta, memiliki tingkat pendidikan sarjana, berasal dari negara Amerika serikat dan mempunyai hobi beriwisata. Faktor pendorong wisatawan berkunjung ke daya tarik wisata Pura Mangening secara dominan adalah untuk merelaksasikan diri, sedangkan faktor penarik wisatawan berkunjung ke daya tarik wisata Pura Mangening secara dominan adalah untuk mendapatkan pengalaman baru. Secara keseluruhan, faktor penarik memiliki kontribusi lebih tinggi dibandingkan faktor pendorong dalam memotivasi wisatawan untuk berkunjung ke daya tarik wisata Pura Mangening. Persepsi wisatawan terhadap attractions, amenities, ancillary services, activities, accessibilities, dan available packages yang terdapat di daya tarik wisata Pura Magening sudah baik. Persepsi wisatawan terhadap attractions mendapat rata-rata paling tinggi, sedangkan persepsi wisatawan terhadap amenities mendapatkan rata-rata paling rendah.

ABSTRACT
One of the tourist attractions that will be developed in Gianyar Regency is Mangening Temple. The development of the tourist attraction of Mangening Temple by the government of Gianyar Regency aims to increase tourist interest. Some factors that influence the interest or decision to visit tourists are motivation and perception of tourists. This research aims to: 1) determine the characteristics of tourists visiting the tourist attraction of Mangening Temple; 2) determine the motivation of tourists visiting the tourist attraction of Mangening Temple; and 3) determine the perception of tourists toward the tourist attraction of Mangening Temple
The samples used in this research amounted to 100 people who were taken by non- probability sampling methods, especially accidental sampling. Data collection was carried out by distributing offline questionnaires to tourists visiting the tourist attraction of Mangening Temple. The questionnaire provided consisted of 12 statements regarding tourist motivation which refers to the theory of travel motivation (push factor and pull factor), and 33 statements regarding tourist perception which refers to the theory of tourism destination development, namely attractions, amenities, ancillary services, activities, accessibilities, and available packages. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis.
Based on the results of the research, it was found that the characteristics of tourists visiting the tourist attraction of Mangening Temple were dominated by tourists of the female gender, aged 23–27 years, who work as private employees, have a bachelor's degree, come from the United States, and have a hobby of traveling. The push factor of tourists visiting the tourist attraction of Mangening Temple is dominantly to relax themselves, while the pull factor of tourists visiting the tourist attraction of Mangening Temple is dominantly to get a new experience. Overall, pull factors contribute more significantly than push factors in motivating tourists to visit the tourist attraction of Mangening Temple. Tourist’s perceptions of the attractions, amenities, ancillary services, activities, accessibilities, and available packages contained in the tourist attraction of Magening Temple are good. Tourists' perceptions of attractions get the highest average, while tourists' perceptions of amenities get the lowest average.
