LEARNING FOR THE SEVENTH GRADE STUDENTS OF SMPN 12

This research aims at improving english speaking fluency using flipped learning method
for the seventh grade students. This research used Classroom Action Research (CAR). In
collecting the data, the researcher used test and interview. The subjects of this research
were seventh grade students of SMPN 12 Denpasar. The result of preliminary study showed
that some of the students have problem in english speaking fluency. The researcher used
flipped learning method to improve english speaking fluency. In collecting the data, the
researcher did speaking test with used flipped learning method. Flipped learning method
suggest the students to study at home. The teacher sent the learning material before the
class be held. This research conducted in four meeting. In every meeting, the students
showed that they did improving their english speaking fluency. The score of the students
in test were increased. Flipped learning made the students more confident in speaking.
