Latar belakang penelitian ini merupakan permasalahan yang sering terjadi
dalam mata pelajaran IPAS, sehingga pemilihan strategi yang tepat dapat
memudahkan guru dalam penyampaian materi dan mudah untuk di pahami bagi
peserta didik. Permasalah dalam penelitian ini adalah proses guru menanggulangi
permasalahan siswa memahami topik bagian tubuh tumbuhan kelas IV pada mata
pelajaran IPAS, apa saja kendala-kendala guru dalam menanggulangi permasalahan
siswa memahami topik bagian tubuh tumbuhan kelas IV pada mata pelajaran IPAS,
dan apa upaya yang dilakukan guru untuk mengatasi kendala dalam menanggulangi
permasalahan siswa memahami topik bagian tubuh tumbuhan kelas IV pada mata
pelajaran IPAS. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan
deskriptif yang berlokasi di SD Negeri 12 Pemecutan. Teknik pengumpulan data
adalah observasi, wawancara, studi kepustakaan dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis
data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil
penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, strategi guru dalam menanggulangi
permasalahan siswa memahami topik bagian tubuh tumbuhan kelas IV pada
mata pelajaran IPAS di SD Negeri 12 Pemecutan yakni dengan adanya
perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Kendala-kendala yang dihadapi
guru adalah perbedaan karakter siswa dan kurangnya konsentrasi siswa dalam
menerima pelajaran. Sedangakkan Upaya yang dilakukaan guru adalah
memahami karakter siswa dan membantu siswa berkonsentrasi dalam
pembelajaran.

The background of this research was the problem that occurred frequently in
science subjects, so choosing the right strategy can make it easier for teachers to
deliver the material and easy for students to understand. The problem in this
research was the teacher's process of overcoming the problems of students
understanding the topic of plant body parts in grade IV elementary school in
science subjects, what are the teacher's obstacles in overcoming student problems
in understanding the topic of plant body parts in class IV in science subjects, and
what efforts are made by the teacher to overcome obstacles in overcoming students'
problems in understanding the topic of plant body parts in grade IV elementary
school in natural science subjects. This type of research is a qualitative research
with a descriptive approach located at SD Negeri 12 Pemecutan. The techniques
used for data collection are observation, interviews, literature study and
documentation. Data analysis techniques through data reduction, data
presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the
teacher's strategy in overcoming the problems of students understanding the topic
of plant body parts in grade IV elementary school in the science subject at SD
Negeri 12 Pemecutan is by planning and implementing learning. The obstacles
faced by the teacher are the differences in student character and the lack of
concentration of students in receiving lessons. While the efforts made by the teacher
are to understand the character of students and help students concentrate on
learning.
